Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu, you’ll be greeted by your guide who will transfer you to your hotel. The bustling capital of Nepal, Kathmandu, is known for its rich history, culture, and vibrant streets. Take some time to relax after your long journey and get ready for the exciting trek ahead.

Early in the morning, you'll take a thrilling flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, a small town nestled in the mountains at 2,860 meters. After arriving at Lukla, you’ll begin your trek, descending slightly to the village of Phakding. The trek is relatively short, offering a gentle introduction to the trail, with views of the lush forests and pristine rivers. Overnight stay at Phakding.

From Phakding, the trek continues through a beautiful pine forest, crossing several suspension bridges and passing through small villages. After a steady climb, you’ll reach Namche Bazaar, the largest town in the Everest region, at 3,440 meters. After a hearty breakfast, you’ll set off towards Tengboche, known for its beautiful monastery and stunning mountain views. The trek takes you through scenic forests and across the Dudh Koshi River before the final ascent to Tengboche. From here, you’ll enjoy a close-up view of some of the world’s tallest peaks, including Mount Everest, Ama Dablam, and Lhotse. Today’s trek takes you to Chhukung, a small village at 4,730 meters. The trail is relatively short, and as you make your way to this remote village, you’ll be treated to spectacular views of Island Peak and the surrounding mountains. Chhukung is a perfect base for the upcoming high passes and serves as a great place to rest before the next stages of the trek.

Today marks one of the toughest parts of the trek as you cross Kongma La Pass at 5,540 meters. After an early start, you’ll ascend through rocky terrain and snow, reaching the top of the pass with incredible views of the Everest region. After descending from the pass, continue your trek to Lobuche, a small settlement at 4,940 meters, where you’ll spend the night.

Today, you’ll make your way to Everest Base Camp, the iconic starting point for Everest climbers. The journey to Base Camp is long, but the views are spectacular, and standing at the foot of Everest is a truly humbling experience. After spending some time at Base Camp, you’ll return to Gorak Shep, the highest point of the trek, for an overnight stay.
